If you think you have spotted signs of a mouse infestation, our professional pest control technicians can help.
Our domestic mouse treatment (inside only) is based on 3 visits to site over an approx. 21-day period.
During the course of a treatment we can provide advice on ways to proof your home against rodent entry. This may include simple measures such as filling holes with cement to prevent rodent entry.
Cost of a 3-visit domestic treatment, for owner occupied property, is £240 including VAT
There are two species of mice known to enter buildings they are the house mouse (Mus domesticus) and the wood mouse (Apodemus sylvaticus).

Signs of a mouse infestation
Droppings
These are often black, and about the size and shape of a grain of rice. Fresh droppings will be soft and moist. Each mouse can leave approximately 80 droppings per day. Common places to find mouse droppings are under the kitchen sink, around central heating boilers and in roof spaces
Smell
Strong ammonia smell as mice urinate frequently
Smear Marks
Smear marks occur from the oil in their coats regularly rubbing on walls as they make their way along trails to and from their nest site or in search of food
Noises
Mice are normally heard at night. You may hear scratching, gnawing or scuttling around.

To food/food packaging in kitchens, pantries
Gnawing
Gnawing marks on electrical cables, woodwork, plastic, brick and lead pipes, as well as torn bags of foodstuff and materials
Nest
Mice make their nests from soft materials such as loft insulation, paper, cardboard. Nests can be found indoors for example in lofts, under floorboards or in airing cupboards.
